More than half of working Russians have never taken a vacation in 2026. RIA Novosti reports this.
According to the survey, more than 50% of respondents have not spent a single vacation day since the beginning of the year. Another 32% used vacation partially. Only 5% of working Russians have already taken their entire vacation. Another 13% of study participants reported that they were not on official leave because they were not currently employed.
The attitude towards vacation differs depending on the area of work. Agriculture has the largest number of employees who have already fully used their vacation. This turned out to be 16%. At the same time, in the field of arts, entertainment and mass media, most workers still have their vacation ahead of them. There, 65% of employees have not yet taken a single vacation day this year.
The survey took place in May 2026. 3.22 thousand respondents took part in it.
