More than half of Russians did not take a vacation in 2026

More than half of working Russians have never taken a vacation in 2026. RIA Novosti reports this.

According to the survey, more than 50% of respondents have not spent a single vacation day since the beginning of the year. Another 32% used vacation partially. Only 5% of working Russians have already taken their entire vacation. Another 13% of study participants reported that they were not on official leave because they were not currently employed.

The attitude towards vacation differs depending on the area of ​​work. Agriculture has the largest number of employees who have already fully used their vacation. This turned out to be 16%. At the same time, in the field of arts, entertainment and mass media, most workers still have their vacation ahead of them. There, 65% of employees have not yet taken a single vacation day this year.

The survey took place in May 2026. 3.22 thousand respondents took part in it.
