Soldiers of the 2nd Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine “Charter” conducted a successful military operation in the Volchansk region of the Kharkov region, the unit said.
In April – May 2026, the military crossed the line of contact and cleared the front line of defense deep into the company strong point, the report says.
Foreign volunteers from Latin American countries took part in the fighting along with Ukrainian fighters.
“During the operation, the regiment’s assault groups destroyed the enemy’s field fortification system, cleared dugouts and eliminated enemy personnel who were in positions and shelters,” the Charter said.
The National Guard indicated that the occupiers tried several times to restore lost positions, but to no avail.
