In Krasnoyarsk this year, 18 sports grounds will be renovated and two new ones will be built. This was reported to the city administration.
The center of sports clubs will build a playground for playing small towns on 60 Let Oktyabrya Street, 5g, as well as a site for passing GTO standards on Suvorov Street, 120. In addition, the city will modernize 11 existing flat sports facilities and repair 7 more. Work will also be carried out in four sports facilities.
At one of the sites on Lado Ketskhoveli Street, 65, repairs have already begun. Its area is 336 square meters. By the end of summer, they plan to completely replace the base, lay a rubber anti-injury coating and install a mesh fence around the perimeter.
The site will also feature new basketball posts and soccer goals. A trash can and bench will be installed nearby. Now the workers have already dismantled the old base and fencing of the sports facility, and have also begun laying the asphalt surface.
The site is intended for free physical education classes. Throughout the year you will be able to play football, fireball, basketball, outdoor and Russian folk games.
“With the onset of summer, open courtyard areas are in high demand among city residents. After all, this is an excellent opportunity to engage in physical education and sports within walking distance. Also, during the holidays, children can play outdoor games here,” said Alexander Kaminsky, head of the main department for physical culture, sports and tourism.
In total, the Center for Sports Clubs manages 274 sites at 169 addresses. At most of them, instructors conduct free daily classes for children over 6 years old, and also organize competitions between clubs in their area of residence.
As part of the initiative project “Table tennis in every yard!” A table tennis court will be built in the Zheleznodorozhny district this year. In Berezovka, which recently became part of Krasnoyarsk, on Druzhby Street, 24e, a site will be installed for passing the GTO standards.
