Young scientists from Krasnoyarsk can win a grant from MTS and the Russian Academy of Sciences

MTS, Charity Fund “System” and the Russian Academy of Sciences announce the start of the competition for young scientists. The key nomination was the direction of artificial intelligence and quantum technologies. The authors of the best innovative developments will receive financial and methodological support for the implementation of work results.

As part of the “Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Technologies” nomination, young Krasnoyarsk scientists, graduate students and students can offer development and research in the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning in the natural and technical sciences.

Among the competitive topics, the development of algorithms for constructing semantic graphs of knowledge based on the demographic and cultural context of modern Russia is stated. Such algorithms in the future will help to adapt large language models for users in Russia.

“Scientists from the Krasnoyarsk Territory are known far beyond its borders due to their work in the areas of nanotechnology, molecular pharmacology, immunology and others. Many of the researchers remained in the small homeland and continue to promote science here. Of course, the trend of recent years in science, including the development of artificial intelligence, and business, including socially responsible companies, such as MTS, is invested in its study and “landing” on real -acting technologies. We are actively working with universities in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, not only introduce our developments into their work-for example, the MTS Link with AI Helicopter online communication platform-but we also participate in the development and implementation of educational programs, we offer internships for the best students. Support and constant dialogue with Krasnoyarsk scientists and students allows you to create and develop innovative areas together, including the use of artificial intelligence and neural networks, ”said Sergey Egoshin, director of MTS in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

The participants of the competition can become citizens of the Russian Federation – a young scientist or a team of students and young scientists, representing their own scientific developments and innovative studies. Applications for participation are accepted until July 20, 2025.

The expert commission will evaluate the work according to the following criteria: scientific novelty, originality; the relevance of the idea; Theoretical validity; level of scientific study and the possibility of implementation in practice; project innovation; Implementation and testing. The names of the winners of the competition will be known from October 10 to November 1, 2025.

Last year, almost 350 applications from young scientists representing more than 75 research and educational organizations from 45 regions of the country were received at the contest of young scientists and wounds. The best were the authors of 16 projects in four nominations devoted to artificial intelligence and quantum technologies, alternative sources of energy, genetics and biomedicine, chemistry and new materials.
