The trial of ex-mayor Loginov begins in Krasnoyarsk

On June 2, the trial began in the high-profile case of the former head of Krasnoyarsk, Vladislav Loginov.

Let us remind you that he is charged with four counts of receiving bribes on an especially large scale (Part 6 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Each of them carries a sentence of 8 to 15 years in prison.

Today, a preliminary hearing has been scheduled in the Central District Court of the city, which will be held behind closed doors. The media reported that Vladislav Loginov will speak at it via videoconference; he was not transported from Moscow to participate in the first meeting.

According to the case file, inplace with Loginov in the dock four more defendants: ex-deputy head of Krasnoyarsk Alexey Davydov, also accused of taking bribes, and three alleged intermediaries – former head of the city department of roads, infrastructure and improvement Evgeny Zhvakin, former deputy of the city council and ex-head of UDIB Pavel Kresko and Tatyana Sukhova.

Let us remind you that Loginov has served as mayor of Krasnoyarsk since 2022. On June 9, 2025, immediately after the celebration of his City Day detained and were transported to Moscow. On June 10, the Basmanny District Court arrested him on charges of taking a bribe in the amount of more than 180 million rubles from the general director of a commercial organization – partly in money, partly in the form of construction of a bathhouse on the site. According to investigators, in return Loginov ensured the company’s victory in tenders for the repair of city roads. He himself first stated that he had been slandered, and then information appeared that he began to cooperate with the investigation.

In September 2025, the City Council satisfied Vladislav Loginov's request to resign from the post of mayor at his own request.
