Almost 15 thousand graduates of the Krasnoyarsk Territory passed the Unified State Exam in Russian

Graduates of the Krasnoyarsk Territory today passed the most widespread Unified State Exam, the Russian language. This was reported by the Ministry of Education of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

The exam started on time and went without any technological glitches. All participants began to complete the tasks. The results will be known no later than June 19. The Unified State Examination in the Russian language is mandatory. Based on the results of exams in Russian language and mathematics, graduates receive a school leaving certificate. Those who apply for medals must score at least 70 points in the Russian language.

3 hours 30 minutes are allotted to complete the work. During this time, graduates need to complete 27 tasks. The first part tests knowledge of spelling, punctuation and ability to work with text. The second part consists of writing an argument. Work without support from the text read is not graded. If the essay is completely rewritten or is a retelling of the original text without commentary, the participant will not receive points for it. The essay must be at least 150 words.

“You can get a little more than a third of all points for the essay, so I recommend that graduates pay close attention to this task. It is forbidden to refer to genres such as comics, anime, or computer games in your essay. As part of the school curriculum, a sufficient number of classic works of domestic and foreign literature are studied so that, based on them, children can develop a clear and convincing argument for their own opinion,” noted the Minister of Education of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Tatyana Gridasova.

The main wave of the Unified State Exam started on June 1. Graduates have already written exams in literature, chemistry and history. The next Unified State Examination will be held on June 8, on this day participants will take mathematics at the specialized and basic levels.
