The mayor of Krasnoyarsk checked how the improvement of the Oktyabrsky district is progressing

Mayor of Krasnoyarsk Sergei Vereshchagin summed up the results of the next “District Route”. He spoke about the results of his trip to the Oktyabrsky district in his channel in the national messenger MAX.

One of the iconic objects on the route was 2nd Ogorodnaya Street. The strengthening of the slope continues here – construction of a retaining wall has been completed at house No. 24. The total length of all sections of the structure exceeds 300 meters.

“We discussed a plan to drain water from the basements. The measures are clear, monitoring of implementation is important,” explained the head of the city.

During the tour, the mayor also checked the progress of major renovations of the school on Lesnaya Street. Work on the second floor has already been completed, and work on the first floor is nearing completion. At the same time, landscaping of the area began. The educational institution is planned to open by September 1. At the same time, the city continues to build a school for 1,280 students in the Agrouniversity microdistrict – the facility is being built according to schedule.

Sergey Vereshchagin pays special attention to residents’ requests for solid municipal waste collection sites on Popov and Kamchatskaya streets. New container platforms were installed here, and the driveway and sidewalk on Popov Street were repaired.

During the tour, the head of the city, together with representatives of the district administration, identified tasks for updating the guest route in the area from Totmina Street to Godenko Street. City services plan to begin comprehensive work in this area next year.

In addition, the mayor looked at the progress of the improvement of the square in front of the cultural center on Vysotnaya. The project involves large-scale landscaping: it is planned to plant about 50 trees and 200 shrubs.
