On the night of May 24, the Kiev region experienced a massive attack by the aggressor country Russia with strike drones, cruise missiles and ballistics. This was announced by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Nikolai Kalashnik.
According to him, two men died – in the Buchansky and Obukhovsky districts. The number of victims increased to nine people. Among them is a child who is not yet a year old. Most of the victims were in the Fastovsky district – five people.
According to the State Emergency Service, due to the shelling in Bila Tserkva, a fire broke out in a garage cooperative.
The media and social networks suggested that the invaders could strike Bila Tserkva with an Oreshnik medium-range ballistic missile. The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky warned the day before that the Russian army could use a missile. However, neither the OVA nor the State Emergency Service indicated this.
The consequences of the attack were also recorded in Vyshgorod – the State Emergency Service reported that a multi-storey residential building was hit.
In the Brovary district, fragments of a UAV fell into an open area.
In the Fastovsky district, an apartment building was damaged, as well as four private ones.
In the Buchansky district there is a logistics center, a warehouse and two apartment buildings.
In Boryspil, the building of a private sauna was damaged.
