Anastasia Tomenchuk, a 4th year student at the Institute of Philology and Linguistic Communication at Siberian Federal University, developed a media project dedicated to the use of the “Pushkin Map” in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The work was carried out in partnership with the program’s project office and under the guidance of Olesya Boguslavskaya, associate professor of the Department of Journalism and Media Linguistics at Siberian Federal University.
The project, entitled “A Gun in Your Pocket: The Experience of Krasnoyarsk,” talks about how the region’s youth use the opportunities of a cultural program. The authors tried to answer questions about how popular theaters, museums and domestic cinema are among young people, as well as what difficulties the owners of the “Pushkin Card” face.
The website contains interviews with program participants, where they share their personal experiences of using the card. In addition, users have access to a podcast that can be listened to on various platforms, including Yandex Music, VK Music, Apple Podcasts and Mave.
The project also presents data on what periods of the year Krasnoyarsk residents most often use the Pushkin Card, and publishes comments from representatives of the program’s regional project office who talk about the nuances of its use.
You can get acquainted with the project on the website internetyak.tilda.ws/pushkincard_main.
Let us remind you that the “Pushkin Card” is a program for cultural education of Russian youth aged 14 to 22 years, developed by the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation. The program launched on September 1, 2021. Its goal is to increase the accessibility of cultural institutions for the younger generation, to attract teenagers and young people to theatrical art, museum exhibitions and concert programs.
