After Nicușor Dan said drone was diverted by Ukrainian defense, Defense Minister says he can't confirm

The interim Minister of Defense, Radu Miruță, stated that he received data regarding the composition and source of the Russian drone that fell on the night of Thursday to Friday on a block of flats in Galaţi, but not regarding the cause that redirected its trajectory towards Romania.
Asked on Sunday by Digi24 if the authorities have clarified how the Russian drone arrived in Romania, given that Nicușor Dan had declared for the BBC that the trajectory was changed by the Ukrainian defense, the Minister of Defense avoided confirming the president's statements.
“As long as it is a drone with an explosive charge, it is the responsibility of those who launch it to take care of its trajectory (…). There is no excuse from the Russian Federation regarding the reason why a Russian drone, with approximately 30 kilograms of trinitotoluene, an explosive substance, came into an airspace where it was not allowed”, declared Radu Miruță.
He stated that on the radars you can see “the path of this drone”.
“That she was targeted intentionally, that she lost communication is a matter we have no way of knowing,” the official added.
“It's an attempt to debate a subject of far less importance”
Asked if he could confirm what the president said, Radu Miruță stated that it was less important how the trajectory of the Russian drone was changed to reach Romania.
“For me, as Minister of Defense, it is impossible to accept that a Russian drone, with explosives, enters the Romanian airspace (…). There is probably the possibility of ballistic expertise on the components, or probably the Romanian Intelligence Service or whoever took care of this piece has such information”, added the interim Minister of Defense.
He said that the discussion of the cause that changed the direction of the drone “is a loophole in the public space, it is an attempt to debate a subject that is of much less importance.”
“There are a lot of drones that have arrived in Romania that have bullet marks on them according to the expertise that was done. It is possible that this drone also has bullet marks. I tell you that the data we received are about the composition and source,” Minister Radu Miruță also declared.
