A resident of Nazarov received a prison sentence and lost his iPhone for trying to deceive the police with a fake license.

In Nazarovo, a local resident was sentenced for buying a fake driver’s license via the Internet. This was reported in the joint press service of the courts of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

The man did not have a license, but in August 2025 he found an online advertisement for the sale of a fake document. To do this, he switched to the Telegram bot and placed an order for 76 thousand rubles. I sent the seller a photo of my passport, my signature and a photograph. In September, the fake arrived by mail, and the car enthusiast quietly used it for three months.

On December 14, he was stopped on the Achinsk-Uzhur-Troitskoye highway. The driver presented the police with a fake license, but they immediately noticed the fake. The examination confirmed that the form was not made using Goznak technology.

In court, the man fully admitted his guilt. He was sentenced to six months' imprisonment, suspended for 10 months. The iPhone 12, with which he ordered his license, was confiscated to the state – the phone was recognized as a crime weapon. The verdict has not yet entered into legal force.
