One of Hollywood's leading actresses: “I discovered casual sex at 50, I was with a 26-year-old and it was fantastic”
After a life spent as a single mother, taking care of her two children, South African actress Charlize Theron says in an interview that, at almost fifty years old, she rediscovered her sexuality, which she now lives in a freer and more conscious way, writes the Italian site FanPage.it.
Interviewed on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, the actress reviewed the highlights of her life, from motherhood to rediscovering casual sex as an adult. Something that used to be far from her way of thinking and especially her lifestyle: “I've probably only had three casual affairs in my entire life. I should have done it more often in my twenties,” she joked. She then confessed that she recently slept with a 26-year-old: “It was really incredible and it's something I've never done before.”
The actress then explained that she never considered this type of relationship, considering that she had serious relationships. “Then I had kids,” she said. And she added: “What single mother has time for dates? Shave, wax and make-up? My point is: I've got two kids to take to school.”
Charlize Theron adopted two children: Jackson, her first son, was adopted when he was only a few months old and was born in 2012, while August is an African-American girl adopted in 2015.
