If you think that a shower head clogged with salt deposits cannot be cleaned without aggressive means, this simple trick will surprise you. Just a few minutes of preparation and the equipment will shine as if it had just been installed.
You will need:
Thick cellophane bag
2 tablespoons citric acid
Warm water
How does this work:
- Pour warm water into the bag and dissolve the citric acid until clear.
- Place the bag over the watering can so that it is completely submerged in the solution, and secure the edge with an elastic band.
- Leave for 30–60 minutes.
- After soaking, remove the bag, rinse the watering can under running water and wipe the holes with a soft brush; the deposits will come off without mechanical friction.
Thanks to this simple method, the watering can will become completely passable, the streams will flow evenly, and the pressure will return to the same as on the first day of use.
