Cotroceni Palace, open to children from June 1. What activities has the Presidential Administration prepared?

The Presidential Administration is organizing on Monday, June 1, a series of events dedicated to children, which will take place in the halls and garden of the Cotroceni Palace. The program includes workshops, plays, a civic-themed mini-hackathon and rescue dog training demonstrations.
According to the Presidential Administration, the workshops are organized in partnership with prominent NGOs, such as Save the Children, World Vision and Scouts of Romania, which will ensure the participation of groups of children from various backgrounds and children with special educational requirements.
During the day, there will be plays staged by high school students and skits in mime-gestural language performed by children with hearing impairments.
The program also includes a mini-hackathon on civic themes, followed by the voting of the projects in a “Good Ideas Exchange”.
Children will also be able to participate in rescue dog training demonstrations, Scout specific activities, general culture games, debate and reading sessions, easel drawing workshops and sports activities.
Other institutions also organize events on Children's Day.
The National Railway Company CFR SA will host, between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., in the North Station, the “Discover the Railway World” event. Participants will be able to visit the Royal Train, the Presidential Train, the Royal Salon in the North Station and the CFR Museum for free.
At the same time, the children will have interactive activities and surprises prepared in collaboration with the Children's Comedy Opera, the Sector 5 Children's Club and the Redescoperă Historia Association.
Also on Monday, the Romanian Senate will open its doors for children and their families, between 10:00 and 17:00. Also, the Chamber of Deputies will organize events dedicated to Children's Day within the “Open Doors at the Chamber of Deputies” program.
