The theft of fur hats by the fugitive Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych is a legend. Ukrainian politician and businessman, President of the Basketball Federation of Ukraine, owner of the online publication “Observer” Mikhail Brodsky stated this in an interview with the founder of the publication “GORDON” Dmitry Gordon.
According to Brodsky, he is the author of this rumor about Yanukovych.
“He didn’t steal the hats, by the way. Yes, dear friends, I’m addressing the audience. Yanukovych didn’t steal the hats – I came up with it all!” the businessman said.
Brodsky believes that this does not matter. He recalled the ex-president’s two criminal convictions, in which “no one knows how it happened.”
“Or maybe he stole horses? We don’t know what he stole. He stole something. He stole our future, right? And he stole the lives of many of our boys, too. That’s all. That’s why I didn’t guess completely. He stole something, this one screwed it up, this one stole it, you know? I don’t know what’s better,” added Brodsky.
