Peluza Nord Galați, the main ultras group that supports Oțelul, displayed a banner in the city criticizing the authorities for last night's incident when a Russian drone hit a block of flats in Galaţi.
The ultras from Peluza Nord Galati also came with a harsh message, in addition to the picture with the canvas displayed in the city. Criticism was directed at the authorities in Bucharest.
Peluza Nord Galati, message after a drone crashed on a block in the city: “We are not and will never accept being treated as mere cannon fodder”
The message displayed by the ultras in the city was: “Galatians, the city that seems to stand in your way / How long before we become cannon fodder?”
“In the face of a cruel reality that knocks directly at our door, Peluza Nord Galati raises an alarm that concerns us all, beyond football or colors.
The recent incident, in which a drone hit a block of flats in our city, proves to us that the incompetence and carelessness of the authorities in Bucharest have turned the sky of Galați into a real Russian roulette. Our families, friends and homes are left to chance, guinea pigs in a conflict that is not ours.
We are not and will never accept being treated as mere cannon fodder! Aggression against civilians is unacceptable and the security of our city is non-negotiable.
Signed, Peluza Nord Galati”, was the message posted by the Danubians on their social media page.
