Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov denounced Germany on Saturday, which aims to become the spear peak of European reunion, and referred to the country's past, writes AFP.
“As for the militarization of Germany, we have repeatedly expressed our profound concerns,” said the head of Russian diplomacy at a press conference organized in the margin of the UN General Assembly.
“It is not just a process of remilitization in progress, but there are also obvious signs of a rebirth of Nazism,” said Lavrov.
“Why is this happening? Probably for the same purpose Hitler had proposed: to submit the entire Europe to his control and try to cause a strategic defeat, then against the Soviet Union, and today against Russia,” said Sergei Larov.
With the installation of the Conservatory Friedrich Merz as a chancellor, Germany has set out to become the spear tip of European reunion, given the Russian threat and American decommissioning.
Berlin announced on Thursday the launch of a space defense program worth 35 billion euros and the employment in a “arms race” in the field of drones.
Also on Thursday, the German army launched three days of military exercises in Hamburg, a large port city. Exercise scenario: a military escalation at the borders of the Baltic countries, states that are adjacent to Russia.

“The (German) chancellor proudly said that his goal is to deal with Germany, again, the main military power of Europe,” said Sergei Lavrov.
“And when a person, in a country that committed the crimes of Nazism, fascism, the Holocaust (…) states that Germany must become a great military power, this demonstrates a memory of atrophied history, and this is extremely dangerous,” concluded Russia's Foreign Minister.
