Anita Orban tops the ranking of politicians. Peter Magyar off the podium


The indicator of politicians' popularity among Hungarian society, surveyed in May, was 55% in the case of Anita Orban. and placed it first in the ranking. Next came other ministers of the Magyar government: Minister of Economy and Energy Istvan Kapitany (54%) and Minister of Transport and Investment David Vitezy (53%).

Among opposition politicians, former Prime Minister Viktor Orban is the most popular with 35 percent.

“Although about half of respondents have a positive opinion about Prime Minister Magyar's Tisza ministers, the vast majority do not like opposition politicians,” noted the Nepszava daily in its analysis of the survey.

62 percent respondents have a negative opinion of the former prime minister, but the most unpopular Fidesz politician in the survey is Janos Lazar, former minister of construction and transport in Victor Orban's government, 67 percent. respondents have a negative opinion about him. Hungarians accuse Lazar of racism, stigmatizing minorities and perpetuating harmful stereotypes. During the parliamentary election campaign, he said that since Hungary lacks immigrants to clean toilets, Hungarian Roma should do it.
