Zelenski wants to discuss with Romania and Poland about a common decision on the downs of drones above Ukraine

The President of Ukraine, Volodimir Zelenski, said it is fair to have discussions on a common decision for drones over Ukraine together with other states, when there is a functional air defense system, according to interfax.com.ua.

“I think it is fair to talk about a common decision. Not only for the drones to fall on the heads of the Ukrainians, not to reach the territory of Poland, but that they are decisions taken together. That is, we have an air defense system – there is everything that flies towards us and Poland.”Zelenski said on Friday, during a discussion with journalists.

He added that Poland proceeds similar to his planes.

“Likewise, Poland breaks with planes everything that flies towards them and everything that flies towards us. We can only consider the western regions of our state – where there are possibilities in Poland. Or it can be not only Poland, but also Romania, the others do not rely.”

The discussions are aimed at coordinating defense measures in the western regions of Ukraine, to prevent cross -border incidents and to optimize the efficiency of anti -aircraft systems.
