In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the number of children in orphanages has decreased by a third, and almost two hundred children have found new families. Such data were presented at the session of the Legislative Assembly during the annual report of the Commissioner for Children’s Rights Irina Miroshnikova.
At the end of last year, 190 children were transferred to foster families, and another 136 were returned to their families. Also, the queue of orphans for housing has decreased by almost 12%. The Krasnoyarsk Territory was awarded the status of one of the best regions in the country in terms of family-saving approach.
In addition, thanks to the trials, it was possible to return 12 more children to their families. There have also been fewer complaints related to the registration of disability and the actions of government bodies. In every fourth case, the violated rights of children were restored.
Let us remind you that in 2025 the national project “Family” was launched in Russia. It is aimed at improving the quality of life of Russian families with children. The project includes five federal programs: “Large family”, “Family support”, “Protection of motherhood and childhood”, “Older generation”, “Family values and cultural infrastructure”.
