On the Krasnoyarsk-Yeniseisk highway, they began to overhaul the section from the 225th to the 226th kilometer, which passes through Shapkino. KrUDor reports this.
Andrey Zhuravlev, head of KrUDor, said that the site is small, but local residents often complained about its condition.
“The contractor will mill the old pavement on the highway and its adjacent areas, then lay two layers of new asphalt concrete. Road workers will also fill up the roadsides, install sidewalks 1.5 m wide, install a drainage system, install a new barrier fence, road signs and markings,” he noted.
In addition, about 28 km of the top layer of asphalt concrete pavement will be replaced on the highway as part of its maintenance. These works are aimed at restoring the roadway and will not affect road infrastructure elements. In some areas, contractors are already removing the worn out top layer, while in others they are laying new asphalt concrete. Road workers also carry out pothole repairs. The cost of the entire scope of work is 58.2 million rubles.
The work is carried out under the national project “Infrastructure for Life”. The designer was JSC Krasindoproekt, the contractor was JSC Lesosibirsk-Avtodor.
