The volunteers of the Boguchansky hydroelectric power station renovated the Youth Center in Kodinsk / News of the Society of Krasnoyarsk and the Krasnoyarsk Territory / Newslab.ru

Activists of the Volunteer Group of the Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station completed work on the Youth Residence project.

A comprehensive repair was carried out at the funds of the grant received following the competition of volunteer projects of the RusHydro group in the premises of the Youth Center: the consequences of communal accidents were eliminated, the ceilings were whitewashed, the walls were completely cleaned and re -painted.

Now the center is the main venue for leisure, competitive and educational events for young people of the Kezhemsky district aged 14 to 35 years. After the repair, its premises were transformed, became more comfortable and cozy. The new color scheme creates a harmonious perception of the premises.

“The team of the youth center and activists of the youth community of Kodinsk are grateful to the Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station and the RusHydro group for invaluable assistance in updating our open space. Thanks to Grant RusHydro and the support of the station employees, we managed to create favorable conditions for friendly communication and development of children. Now you can invite guests with pride for our center, ”said Oksana Moskalenko, director of the Kesana Moskalenko, youth center.

The initiative group of the Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station became the winner of the RusHydro volunteer projects competition at the end of 2024, and already in January 2025, volunteers acquired tools and materials for repair. The authors of the project gathered a team, which included nine employees of the personnel department, the motor transport site and the economic security service and the Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station, as well as more than twenty employees of the youth center, young and adult volunteer citizens. The organizers of the project thank for support and participation in the works of the Deputy Head of the Kezhemsky District on Social Affairs of Alexander Schneider.

The update of the Youth Center is already the fourth project implemented in the city of Kodinsk as part of the competition of volunteer projects of the RusHydro group. At the end of 2023, the Volunteer Group of Youth Ecodorus installed tanks for collecting garbage on the territory of the Lan ski base. In the spring of 2024, a group of employees of the Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station adorned the walls of the Kezhema District Hospital with bright murals, and in early summer, another group of volunteers in her free time set up a children's gaming complex in one of Kodinska’s courtyards.

The competition of corporate volunteer projects of the RusHydro group is aimed at developing corporate volunteering, identifying and replicating the best practices of the executive apparatus, branches and controlled organizations of PJSC RusHydro, and the popularization of the role of a corporate volunteer. Among the priority areas of the competition: education, ecology, healthcare, sports, culture, improvement, assistance to children who need and poor, care for animals. Every year, twenty winners of the competition receive grants from RusHydro for 100,000 rubles for the implementation of their projects.
