You need to control the quality of road work at the start, and not at the end of the road, when the asphalt has already been laid. And today the Krasnoyarsk administration team is applying exactly this correct approach, Governor Mikhail Kotyukov said during the direct line.
“From the quarry where the contractor takes materials, to the asphalt plant and laying the roadbed – for example, on Aviatorov Street, the Krasnoyarsk mayor’s office controls the process and does not allow the contractor to bring low-quality asphalt,” the governor said. “It is clear that there are inconveniences for the residents of the street, since the repairs are delayed, but when the city completes this, the road will serve for a long time and will not cause any complaints.”
Let us recall that in The Krasnoyarsk mayor's office has already emphasized that they pay special attention to the quality of materials. In particular, they commented on the work on Aviatorov Street, where the contractor removed the old asphalt, but has not yet begun laying new asphalt due to the inadequacy of the quality of inert materials for the asphalt concrete mixture. The work will continue after the laboratory's conclusion.
Mikhail Kotyukov also said that a total of about 27 billion rubles have been allocated for road work in 2026 in the Krasnoyarsk Territory; it is planned to repair about 450 kilometers of roads, of which 70 are in Krasnoyarsk.
