Almost 100 drunk drivers were detained in the Krasnoyarsk Territory over the weekend

Last weekend, State Traffic Inspectorate officers detained 98 drivers in the Krasnoyarsk Territory who got behind the wheel while intoxicated. This was reported to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region.
Among the violators were 16 motorists who were driving without a driver's license. The police also identified 11 cases of repeated drunk driving.
Administrative materials were compiled regarding the drivers. Driving while intoxicated is punishable by a fine of 45 thousand rubles and deprivation of the right to drive for up to two years. Repeated drunk driving is subject to criminal liability.
