In the Berezovsky district, a citizen of Tajikistan will appear in court, accused of trying to bribe an official. The prosecutor's office of the Krasnoyarsk region reported this.

The incident occurred in March during Operation Illegal. Law enforcement officers checked greenhouses in the Ermolaevo area and identified a foreigner who no longer had legal grounds to be in Russia. At the police station, the man realized that he might face expulsion and tried to “solve the issue” with money. He asked to meet with his boss.

Before the conversation, a camera was installed in the office. When the man came in, he put 50 thousand rubles on the table. According to investigators, the money was intended to avoid deportation. The official did not accept the bribe. The foreigner was explained that such actions are criminally punishable.

The prosecutor confirmed the charge under the article of attempted bribery. The criminal case will be considered by the Berezovsky District Court.
