In Krasnoyarsk police detained two residents of the Berezovsky district who were engaged in production of synthetic hashish in artisanal conditions.
It was established that previously convicted and unemployed men aged 29 and 33 years old decided to improve their financial situation by engaging in the illegal distribution of prohibited substances.
“To do this, the suspects found the website of a specialized online store operating in the region, after which they rented a house in the Badalyk microdistrict and purchased mixing equipment, ingredients and narcotic substances. During the inspection of the home, hashish oil with a total weight of over 200 grams, brought from Novosibirsk, was seized. Mixing this drug with the ingredients available to the detainees would lead to the production of synthetic hashish with a total weight of over 5 kg,” said the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

For attempting to sell drugs, a criminal case is being investigated against the men under Part 3 of Art. 30, part 5 art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, the sanction of which provides for a maximum penalty of imprisonment for a term of up to 20 years.
Currently, the defendants are in custody; police are checking them for involvement in other crimes.
