A new judo gym “Zarya” has opened in the village of Emelyanovo. This was reported by the Ministry of Sports of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

The area of ​​the prefabricated indoor facility is more than 400 square meters. meters. The building was equipped with two tatami mats for training, locker rooms, bathrooms, a medical office, coaching and administrative offices. Judoists will train in the new hall. They also plan to hold school and municipal competitions here.

“The opening of the gym is an investment in the health of our children and the future of sports in the district. We are creating conditions so that talented guys can train close to home, grow as athletes and glorify our district at competitions of the highest level,” said Alexander Pokhodin, head of the Emelyanovsky municipal district.

The gym also wants to open additional sections to make martial arts classes more accessible to residents of the district.

The facility was built as part of the state program “Development of Physical Culture and Sports.” The new hall will become a platform for training young athletes and attracting children to regular sports.
