38 residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory – doctors, teachers, power engineers, workers in the oil, gas and coal industries, farmers and scientists received high state and regional awards from the hands of the head of the region, Mikhail Kotyukov.
“Each of you is an example that you can achieve significant results in any field of activity. Behind these awards is the work of large teams, more than one day and more than one year of complex, hard work. This is the only way Siberia lives and develops, ensuring the strengthening and preservation of the wealth of our country,” noted the governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Among the awardees are three employees of SUEK-Krasnoyarsk, who were awarded the title “Honored Miner of the Russian Federation.”
Konstantin Kogutov has been working at the Nazarovsky open-pit mine for 30 years. His morning begins at 6:00: medical examination, outfit, bus, and then the cabin of the ESH 10/70 excavator. “We work in any weather: frost, heat, snow. But the result is always a priority,” he says.
“But Konstantin Mikhailovich could become a military pilot,” said SUEK. — After the Achinsk Military Aviation Technical School, I received an officer rank, but the 90s struck, they didn’t pay my salary and I had to submit a letter of resignation. He returned to Nazarovo, got a job as a track lineman at a cutting site, and stayed here. Today he is a foreman and innovator, a multiple winner of professional skills competitions. For conscientious work, in 2016 he was awarded the badge “SUEK. Veteran of the Coal Industry”, in 2022 his portrait adorned the Company's Honor Board, and in 2023 he was awarded the honorary badge of Rosugleprof. When asked about the new title, he answers modestly: “I’m just working.”
Andrey Ezopov became involved with the coal industry during the construction of KATEK. He works as an electrician at the Berezovsky open-pit mine in the crew of the ERSHRD-5250, a giant rotary machine that can remove more than 5,000 cubic meters of coal from the face in an hour. Andrey Alekseevich came to the company in 1992, starting as a line electrician. Since then – not a day without coal. Awarded with the badges “Miner’s Valor” II and I degrees, “SUEK. Veteran of the coal industry,” as well as the medal “For Merit in the Development of the Fuel and Energy Complex.”
“Nothing can be achieved alone, and my title of “Honored Miner” is the merit of the entire crew. The main thing in our business is coordinated work and support. A lot of young people come, and just as mentors once helped me, today I help young specialists,” says the miner.
In 1981, Stanislav Govorin began his career as an electrician at the Borodino open-pit mine. “Director of the Irsha-Borodinsky open-pit mine Anatoly Vasilyevich Baulin invited fellow countrymen from Tulun. I came, learned a little, grew along with the enterprise,” recalls Stanislav Stepanovich.
Now he is a driver of the EKG-8us excavator, a full holder of the “Shakherskaya Glory” badge, “Honored Worker of the Coal Industry”, and was awarded the medal “For Merit in the Development of the Fuel and Energy Complex”, 1st degree. The title “Honored Miner of the Russian Federation” has become natural for a person who devoted his life to coal mining.
