In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, preparations for the summer health campaign are being completed. This summer, over 119 thousand children and teenagers will rest in camps in the region and beyond.

803 day camps, 58 country health camps and 18 tent camps will open in the region. Regional budget expenditures on children's recreation will amount to more than 2.1 billion rubles. Governor Mikhail Kotyukov was informed about the preparations for the summer season at a meeting of the presidium of the regional government.

According to the region's Minister of Education Tatyana Gridasova, admission to country camps is nearing completion. All of them are equipped with video surveillance, panic buttons, fences, telephone communications and checkpoints. Anti-terrorism security and the organization of medical care are also being checked.

More than 3 thousand children from the Krasnoyarsk Territory will go on vacation to other regions. Among them are 132 gifted students. Also, 518 children from the Arctic and 35 children from the south of Evenkia will go to the coasts of the Black and Japanese Seas and the resorts of the Caucasian Mineral Waters. Free trips will be given to children from preferential categories, including children with disabilities, from large and low-income families. First of all, vouchers will be provided to children of SVO participants.

This year, for the first time, educational psychologists will work in each country camp. They will monitor the emotional situation in children's groups and help in conflict situations. Also planned are 117 specialized shifts in culture, art, sports, patriotic education and socially significant activities. Mikhail Kotyukov instructed the relevant departments to keep control over the preparation of infrastructure, safety, nutrition and leisure for children.

In 2026, more than 347 million rubles will be allocated to strengthen the material and technical base of country camps. These funds will be used to install 5 new modular buildings and catering units, as well as repair 18 municipal and 11 regional country camps.
