Ukrainian actress Elena Kravets is not currently communicating with her friend and goddaughter, the first lady of Ukraine Elena Zelenskaya. She spoke about this in an interview with presenter Slava Demin; the video was published on YouTube on May 26.
“You are Elena Zelenskaya's godmother. How do you feel about this practice of baptism?” – Demin asked.
“I really appreciate your delicacy and the way you ask questions. I am grateful to you. But we are now entering a territory where all this is a conditional closeness through kinship, as if it should influence something. I haven’t seen Elena for a very long time. I don’t see her. We, unfortunately, to our great regret, because I miss her, don’t even communicate on the phone,” admitted Kravets.
She added that she doesn't even have her goddaughter's number.
“Everyone does it, but it’s safety,” she added.
