The two teams with twin galleries played it out in the 10th stage of the play-off. There was no stake in the ranking, U Cluj being mathematically in 2nd place, Dinamo in 4th.
The “Dogs” have one more match this season, next weekend, with the winner of FCSB and Botoșani, for a place in the 2nd preliminary round of the Conference League in the 2026-2027 season.

After the match at Cluj Arena, Dinamo's players went in front of the gallery that made the trip. The supporters sang along with Zeljko Kopic's students, pleased with what they saw.
The players also applauded the fans, then went up into the stands and took pictures with them. The cameras caught Ianis Tarbă and Alexandru Pop being asked for photos by supporters.
U Cluj's gallery, full support after missing out on the title and the Romanian Cup
On the other side, the supporters of U Cluj sang for Cristiano Bergodi's players, at the end of a season that ended in 2nd place in the Superliga. The atmosphere in the hosts' camp was more incandescent than that of the dynamists, U's gallery lighting torches and smokestacks.
Although the Transylvanian team lost the final of the Romanian Cup and was defeated 0-5 by Craiova in the title match, from the previous stage, U's players enjoyed the full support of the fans.
“U Cluj we love you, we thank you for everything”, was the message that appeared in the gallery of the University of Cluj.
