Over 120,000 Attend First Day of Untold Festival at Cluj Arena

More than 120,000 attendees from Romania and abroad gathered at Cluj Arena on Thursday for the opening day of the 11th edition of the Untold Festival. The festival featured nine stages showcasing performances from both international and Romanian artists. Organizers announced that the 2027 edition will be themed “Untold Star.”
The highlight of the evening was a concert by Sting. The program continued with Kris Fade and Dean Curtis’s Cancelled Music project, followed by an impressive debut from James Hype and a performance by the American duo The Chainsmokers.

For the first time, Guess Who performed on the festival’s main stage. The opening acts included performances by Alexandra Căpitănescu, who represented Romania at Eurovision.
The Galaxy stage focused on house and techno music, featuring sets by Persic B2B Paul Svenson, RBØR, Priku, and Cezar. Carl Cox, the night’s headliner, returned to Untold with a set that continued into the early morning.
At the Alchemy stage, attendees enjoyed hip-hop, trap, and bass music shows from artists such as Alexandra Căpitănescu, Marko Glass with Bvcovia, Albert NBN, IAN, Gramatik, and the British duo Sigma.
2027 Tickets on Sale Soon!
Organizers announced that the first tickets for the 2027 edition, titled Untold Star Edition, will go on sale on Saturday, August 8, starting at 21:30. The initial tickets will be available at a promotional price of 75 euros plus fees, with the final price set at 249 euros plus fees.
Due to limited availability, these tickets and subscriptions will only be sold through the official app and website.
