Suspected case of Ebola in Europe. The man was admitted to the hospital where medical personnel were quarantined after treating a case of hantavirus

A Dutch hospital announced on Friday that it admitted a patient with “slight suspicion” of being infected with the Ebola virus and said that the results of the medical tests will be known during this weekend, informs AFP, taken by Agerpres.
The patient was placed under the supervision of doctors in a specialized isolation ward, said the Radboud University Hospital, located in Nijmegen, in the east of the Netherlands.
The medical facility has not yet released any details about this patient or his recent movements.
Also on Friday, the World Health Organization (WHO) announced that the Ebola epidemic in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) now represents a “very high” public health risk in this country, the maximum alert level, compared to the previous “high” level.
The Director General of the WHO, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, mentioned almost 750 suspected cases of Ebola in the DRC and 177 deaths most likely associated with this virus.
Twelve employees of the Radboud University Hospital were placed in quarantine on May 11 after providing medical care to a patient infected with hantavirus and evacuated from the MV Hondius cruise ship.
Several procedural errors were then committed during the patient's blood collection and urine collection.
