Immediately after the vote, the head of the president's office, Paweł Głosernaker, spoke. “The Senate rejected the president's request for a referendum on the Green Deal. This is a vote against the right of Poles to have a say on bills, jobs and the future of our economy. You can reject the request, but you cannot silence citizens. Poland first, Poles first,” we read.
