There are changes in Orlen's price list. The company announced new wholesale fuel prices on Wednesday

Data published by Orlen on its website shows that on Wednesday, unleaded Eurosuper 95 petrol costs PLN 5,000 wholesale. PLN 723 per cubic meter.i.e. PLN 18 less than the day before, Super Plus 98 unleaded petrol costs PLN 6,000. PLN 237 per cubic meter.i.e. PLN 15 less than after the previous correction, however Ekodiesel diesel oil costs PLN 6,000. PLN 156 per cubic meter.which means a decrease of PLN 31 compared to the last price change.

Orlen reacts to oil prices
Wholesale fuel prices announced daily by Orlen fluctuate – there are increases or decreases from day to day, which is the company's reaction to the current situation on the crude oil market, especially its prices. On Tuesday, May 19, the company's wholesale prices were increased compared to the previous rates announced by Orlen on Saturday, May 16.
From March 31, all stations in Poland will have maximum fuel prices, temporarily introduced as part of the government's CPN regulatory package, which is intended to limit price increases for these products. The rates are set based on the average wholesale fuel price on the domestic marketincreased by excise duty, fuel fee, as well as sales margin and VAT. Maximum prices are announced every day by the Ministry of Energy in Monitor Polski.
According to the current announcement of the Minister of Energy on maximum prices, on Wednesday at stations a liter of unleaded 95 petrol costs no more than PLN 6.52, unleaded 98 petrol – PLN 7.7 and diesel oil – PLN 7. This means that the prices of these fuels have increased compared to Tuesday, when a liter of unleaded 95 petrol cost a maximum of PLN 6.42, unleaded 98 petrol – PLN 6.97, and diesel oil – PLN 6.85.

Last week, regulations were published in the Journal of Laws, which show that the VAT rate on gasoline, diesel oil and biocomponents constituting independent fuels has been reduced from 23 percent. up to 8%, will be valid until May 31. The reduction in excise duty on the same fuels has also been extended until the end of May. According to previous regulations of the “Lower Fuel Prices” package, reduced VAT and excise duty rates were to apply until May 15.
