SME financing 2026: Registration period for the Swiss SME Eco-Tech funds program, with a budget of 288 million lei for Romanian companies
Romanian small and medium-sized companies (SMEs) will be able to register online, starting on May 26, 2026, to the Swiss SME Eco-Tech funds program, in which Romanian entrepreneurs have a total budget of 288 million lei.
Registration will be open on the sme-ecotech.gov.ro platform, between May 26, 2026, 10:00 a.m. and June 24, 2026, 8:00 p.m., with the possibility of extension until the allocated budget is exhausted, according to the Ministry of Economy, Digitalization, Entrepreneurship and Tourism (MEDAT).
Funding is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
It is a financing instrument dedicated to the green and digital transformation of small and medium enterprises in Romania's manufacturing industry, financed by Switzerland.
