If you want to please your loved ones with hot baked goods, but don’t have time to stand at the stove for hours, this method will be a real salvation. The dough rises right in the bowl, and the finished pancakes turn out porous, tender and very fragrant. An ideal option for those who value speed and home comfort.
Ingredients:
250 ml kefir at room temperature
1 egg
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
150–180 g wheat flour a pinch of salt vegetable oil for frying
Preparation:
- In a deep bowl, combine kefir, egg, sugar and salt, stir with a whisk until smooth.
- Add flour in small portions, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
- At the end, add baking soda, stir quickly and leave the mixture for three to four minutes to activate.
- Heat a frying pan with a thin layer of oil, spoon out the dough, forming small circles.
- Fry over medium heat until golden brown on both sides, turning once.
- Serve warm with sour cream, jam or honey.
