“I expected a more spectacular match”

Bogdan Andone spoke about his team's game, about the goal of FC Argeș, but also about a low pace and intensity of the teams after the international break.

Bogdan Andone reacted after FC Argeș – Farul 0-0: “Maybe this break took us out of rhythm, maybe them too”

“It was two different halves. The first half we controlled the game again. We had a big chance. The second half Farul controlled it but we still had the biggest chance to score. A fair result considering how the game played out. I was expecting a more spectacular match. I don't know what happened. Maybe this break threw us out of rhythm, maybe them too. It was as if there was a lack of rhythm, of intensity, even though there were many duels.

It was an intense match on the turf. The phases of the goal, the goals, were missing. We have to take the good part: the fact that we got a point.

I don't want to comment on the refereeing. The VAR camera was consulted. It's the decisions they make. Sometimes they are good, sometimes they are wrong. It happens. If we had a penalty and scored, it was definitely a different game in the second half.

In the end I got a point. We have to be satisfied that we didn't concede a goal on a difficult pitch against a good team. We have to prepare very well for the match against Dinamo next Friday.

I'm curious to see if we can make the play-offs. We have to take each match individually and get the most out of it. Let's try to fight until the last stage of the regular season for a play-off place. That we will succeed is extraordinary, that we will finish 7th, 8th or maybe 9th is just as good in the regular season.

It is very important to have the strength of character and physical and mental strength, club, players and staff to maintain this pace, these positive results and to enjoy each individual match. I thank the supporters who were with us today. They supported us. I hope that at Dinamo we will play with a full stadium.

In my opinion, we deserved the win, but we are also satisfied with a draw. Any point is welcome, we have to keep it up. I think the match with Dinamo will be a good one, both galleries are extraordinary and we hope to emerge victorious. We are a strong team, and in every match we prove that we have attitude, we are united and we deserve to be as high as possible
