On the night of December 26, at Krasnoyarsk airport we met the first flight of one of the largest airlines in Kazakhstan – SCAT. The plane arrived from Shymkent.
It is reported that the Kazakh carrier has become the airport’s new international partner. Flights in the direction Krasnoyarsk – Shymkent // Shymkent – Krasnoyarsk will be operated on Boeing 737-MAX-9 on Tuesdays and Fridays. The flight duration will be about 3 hours.
In addition, pPassengers will be able to continue their journey through Shymkent Airport to a wide list of destinations with convenient connections: to Budapest, Munich, Tbilisi, Istanbul, Bangkok, Shanghai, Urumqi, Xi'an, Seoul, Sharm el-Sheikh and the largest cities of Kazakhstan.
“The joining of SCAT airline to the number of our partners is a significant step in strengthening the international relations of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The new flight contributes to the formation of additional logistics capabilities, expands the range of available destinations and increases the competitiveness of the airport as a modern aviation hub. We expect that further cooperation will contribute to the sustainable growth of passenger traffic and the development of international transportation,” said Igor Ivliev, General Director of Krasnoyarsk Airport.
