A member of the Northern Military District from the Krasnoyarsk Territory spoke about military brotherhood and assistance to veterans

“Union of Veterans of the Northern Military District of the Krasnoyarsk Territory” shared the story of a fighter Dmitry Rabotnikov. The veteran shared his experience of participating in special operations.

Dmitry was born in Kyiv, but considers the village of Yartsevo in the Krasnoyarsk Territory to be his homeland – he spent his childhood and youth there. He received his higher education in forestry in Krasnoyarsk, at the Siberian State Technological University. For many years he was engaged in passenger road transportation.

From November 2022 to March 2023, he took part in a special military operation. For his courage and heroism he was awarded the medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II degree with swords. He also has awards for being wounded and for participating in the capture of Bakhmut. Dmitry himself first of all remembers not difficult conditions, but military brotherhood, mutual assistance and the salvation of civilians.

Now he works as a social coordinator for the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation, helping veterans of the Northern Military District, their families and relatives of active military personnel. He also participates in the “Siberian Character” personnel program, which prepares special operation participants for work in the civilian sphere. He is interested in motorcycles, off-road trips and traveling around Russia.
