The management of Krasnoyarsk Pillars gave the first explanations about the new visiting rules

Representatives of the Krasnoyarsk Pillars directorate gave the first explanations regarding the new procedure for visiting the national park.

The press service noted that these standards have been introduced in all specially protected areas of Russia.

“This is a nationwide practice for all nature reserves and national parks of federal significance, related to ensuring the safety of visitors and their personal responsibility for walks (climbing rocks) outside certified routes,” noted representatives of Stolby.

Organized groups will be required to walk only along organized routes; we remind you that there are only three of them in the national park – the road along the Laletino stream, a circular route along the central Pillars and a walk in the Takmakovsky district. In addition, four more eco-trails received certification certificates: from the chapel to the First Transverse along the Laletinskaya road, two pass through a clearing in Narym, and the last one is located in the “Beaver Log” area. This year, the national park plans to bring the Kashtakovsky trail – from the Beaver Log to the Central Pillars – into compliance with the requirements of the law.

“Climbing cannot be included in existing tourist routes, since rock climbing is a sport included in the register of sports. Accordingly, rock massifs can only be used by federations for the relevant sport and only in agreement with the Federal State Budgetary Institution that manages the protected areas,” the press service noted.

Visits outside certified routes are the responsibility of tourists.

“In the event of injury, the environmental institution is not responsible for the consequences of these violations. That is, a tourist who climbs the rock BEARS PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY for his life and health,” the directorate emphasizes.

The national park explains that the routes closed to the public are unsafe “due to the unsatisfactory sanitary condition of the forests, the drying out and fall of the fir tree stand due to the activity of the Ussuri polygrapha, the biotic factor – the presence of predators, and also, importantly, the lack of funding for all necessary activities.” All this also applies to the routes of the special protection zone (formerly the buffer zone).
