VIDEO Ukraine announces the creation of its first aerial bomb. What the new weapon can hit

Ukrainian Defense Minister Mihailo Fedorov announced on Monday the completion of work on the creation of Ukraine's first aerial bomb, at the end of 17 months of efforts that led to the creation of a device that will soon begin to be used in real combat situations, EFE and Agerpres news agencies report.
“Its development took 17 months. The projectile weighs 250 kilograms,” Minister Fedorov wrote on his X account, where he emphasized that this type of bomb has “a unique design, created specifically for the realities of modern warfare.”
The result of the work of members of the Brave1 defense cluster, this bomb is a 100% Ukrainian product, he said, according to Kyiv media.
The bomb was designed to destroy fortifications, command posts and other targets located at a significant depth and at a distance of tens of kilometers.
Ukrainian pilots are conducting tests and making final adjustments, the Ukrainian defense minister said, announcing that “these Ukrainian aerial bombs will soon start hitting enemy targets” in Russia.

Aerial bombs are high-powered conventional projectiles equipped with their own navigation systems that can be launched from an aircraft without the aircraft coming too close to the target.
Russia uses them extensively in Ukraine, and the massive destruction they cause has been instrumental in destroying Ukrainian fortified positions and then allowing its forces to advance on the ground.
