The meta responds to the allegations of NASK. A matter of impact on election advertising

On Wednesday, a scientific and academic computer network announced a possible attempt to interfere in an election campaign. The Internal Security Agency has been notified.
“The NASK Disinformation Analysis Center identified political ads on the Facebook platform, which can be financed from abroad. The materials were displayed on Poland” – informs NASK in an entry published on a social networking site X.
She emphasized that advertising accounts involved in the campaign in the last seven days have spent more on political materials than any election committee. She added that the actions were supposed to seem to support one of the candidates and discredit others.

Advertising campaigns implemented by accounts, according to NASK, particularly concerned Rafał Trzaskowski, Karol Nawrocki and Sławomir Mentzen.
In the afternoon NASK informed that after its intervention, the owner of Facebook – Meta – blocked political ads on the platform that could affect the election campaign in Poland.
