Mobilization age in Ukraine. The President's Office named the condition under which it can be changed

Currently in Ukraine they are not considering the issue of lowering the mobilization age. This was announced by the Deputy Head of the Presidential Office, Brigadier General Pavel Palisa in a comment to Channel 24, which was published on May 18.

Also, in the near future, no one is going to restrict travel abroad for 18-22 year old men.

“At the moment, the issue of lowering the mobilization age and restrictions for the category of 18–22 years old you mentioned regarding travel abroad is not being considered in the current situation,” Palisa said.

He suggested that under some circumstances these decisions could be reconsidered. However, this is now ruled out.

“Everything will depend on the situation at the front, of course. But at the moment this issue is not being considered. It is not even being raised in terms of assessment and risks,” Palisa noted.
