In Minusinsk, the 22-year-old owner of the Vostochny Uyut cafe will appear in court. He is accused of providing services of inadequate quality after injuring a small child, the prosecutor's office of the Krasnoyarsk Territory reported.

The incident occurred in November 2025. A family with a two-year-old girl came to a cafe where there was a decorative handmade fence in the hall. The structure weighed about 60 kilograms, was unstable and was not secured. Another child ran from a nearby table and hit the fence, according to prosecutors. After this, the structure fell on the feet of a two-year-old girl.

The child suffered a fracture. The injury was classified as harm to health of moderate severity. The prosecutor's office believes that the entrepreneur organized the work of the cafe without taking into account the safety and health requirements of visitors. At the same time, visiting the establishment by children was not limited. The cafe owner was charged with providing services that do not meet safety requirements. He did not admit guilt and refused detailed testimony.

The criminal case was sent to the Minusinsk City Court. Also, in the interests of the injured girl, a claim was filed for compensation for moral damage in the amount of 300 thousand rubles.
