Putin flies to Beijing to talk about the gas pipeline. He is accompanied by Russian oligarchs

“A special strategic partnership”

Yuri Ushakov, the Kremlin's foreign policy adviser, confirmed these reports, telling journalists that the topic of the Power of Siberia-2 gas pipeline will be “discussed in detail […] and we are determined to talk about it seriously.”

The Kremlin announced that after the talks ended Putin and Xi will sign a joint declarationto further strengthen its comprehensive partnership.
