In Krasnoyarsk, the investigation of a criminal case against a former employee of a private correctional speech therapy center. This was reported to the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
According to the police, the shortage was reported by the organization's general director. When checking documents, he discovered that from June to November 2024, about 600 thousand rubles were missing. Law enforcement officers established that in May 2024, a girl born in 2003 was hired as an administrator without an employment contract. She dealt with money that came from clients in cash and by bank transfer.
According to investigators, the girl deposited some of the cash into the cash register, and kept some for herself. She also changed the director’s bank details to her own so that client transfers would go to her account. In November 2024, the employee quit and blocked management contacts. Later she promised to return the money, but only reimbursed about 300 thousand rubles. After this, the director contacted the police.
The case was investigated under the article of misappropriation. The maximum penalty is up to 6 years in prison. The accused is under recognizance not to leave the place.
