The Achinsk Perinatal Center received seven stationary vacuum aspirators to help newborns. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
The new devices will be used in the departments of pathology of newborns, premature babies, as well as anesthesiology and intensive care. Vacuum aspirators help remove fluids and tissue fragments during obstetrics and resuscitation of children.
The devices have a high productivity of up to 40 liters per minute. Each of them is equipped with two 2.5 liter containers. The equipment can be easily moved and has a pedal and a surgical attachment.
“Thanks to aspirators, we will improve the quality of medical care, increase the accuracy of diagnosis and the safety of mother and child, and will also be able to care for the most difficult patients,” said Tatyana Vlasova, head of the department of pathology of newborns and premature infants at the Achinsk Center for Maternal and Child Health.
Since the beginning of the year, the Maternal and Child Health Center No. 2 in Achinsk has already received more than 20 types of medical equipment as part of the state program “Health Development”.
