Is the presence of US troops in Poland in question? The minister responds

In recent days, the media, including Reuters and CNN, have reported on the possible suspension of the rotation of four thousand. In the background, there were also signals about potential changes in the command structure of US land forces in Europe and Africa.
The Minister of Defense reacted to these reports. In Saturday's post on the platform, X emphasized that The Polish-American alliance is based on permanent cooperation, not media speculation.
“American involvement in Poland is very high. No decision has been made to reduce involvement, which we confirmed together with representatives of the Pentagon and the US Armed Forces,” wrote Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.

Poland at the center of NATO 3.0
The minister recalled that Poland plays a key role in the process of building NATO 3.0, aimed at strengthening the European pillar of the Alliance and increasing the security of the region. He also pointed to investments in military infrastructure, such as the expansion of bases, warehouses and airports, as well as the presence of forward commands and American units in Poland.

The head of the Ministry of National Defense noted that US President Donald Trump confirmed the durability of the alliance with Poland in his public declarations. He added that the process of reorganizing the presence of US troops in Europe is currently underway, for which General Alexus Grynkewich, who is in constant contact with the Polish General Staff, is responsible.
He also emphasized that Poland has long proposed increasing the permanent presence of US troops at the expense of the rotational one. “All those who claim that Polish-American cooperation has been destroyed or ended are playing to the same goal with Poland's opponents,” Kosiniak-Kamysz concluded.
Political and military unity front
On Friday, the head of the Ministry of National Defense met with President Karol Nawrocki and other representatives of the military authorities to discuss security issues and the presence of American troops in Poland. The president emphasized that the process of increasing the presence of US troops should be supported and expected cooperation from all centers of power in this regard.

General Christopher LaNeve also commented on the matter in the US House of Representatives, explaining that decisions regarding troop rotation are of a logistical nature and will not affect Poland's security. Prime Minister Donald Tusk assured that he is in constant contact with representatives of NATO and the US.
Next Wednesday, the Minister of National Defense is scheduled to meet with Gen. Dan Caine, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the US Armed Forces.
