Three districts of Krasnoyarsk will be partially left without cold water at the end of May

15 May 12:37

On the night of May 29-30 in Krasnoyarsk, cold water will be turned off in parts of the Leninsky, Kirov and Sverdlovsk districts, as well as in the village of Berezovka. At this time, preventive work will be carried out at the water intake of Nizhne-Atamanovsky Island.

The shutdown was previously agreed upon for two days, but KrasCom promised to do everything possible to reduce the period to 24 hours.

Regional Clinical Hospital No. 20 and the Krasmash plant will be switched to drinking water supply from the water intake on Verkhne-Atamanovsky Island, which supplies the Michurinsky microdistrict with cold water.

“In connection with the change in the testing period for heating networks, today, together with the Krasnoyarsk administration, we are adjusting the shutdown dates for the six remaining water intake structures in order to eliminate overlap between the cold and hot water shutdown schedules,” says Oleg Goncherov, general director of KrasKom.

Residents will be informed about each subsequent stop no later than 10 days in advance. While water intakes are being prepared for winter, Krasnoyarsk residents are advised to stock up on drinking water and close the taps when leaving the city for the weekend.
